Artezzan Mediterranean Restaurant & Bar combines the exciting flavours of the Mediterranean with warm and friendly service, bringing back memories of visits to golden beaches and cobbled terraces. This brand new dining experience in the city centre has been designed to provide choice and adventure in a plush, contemporary setting, using colours reminiscent of sun-soaked villages set against splashes of turquoise and blue.
Having travelled extensively across the Med, the team had a vision of creating a restaurant where everyone could experience all the things they love about the region, from the fabulous food and drink to the friendliness of the people you meet along the way. With so many favourite flavours to choose from, Artezzan brings the very best of Italy, France, Spain and Greece all under one roof.
Backed by local investment, Jim Dorrington leads the team at Artezzan. Jim has a wealth of experience in hospitality and is delighted to be opening the very first Artezzan in the heart of Chester. Jim has pulled together an amazing team of chefs and managers who will help bring the dream alive and who all share the same goals for the brand. They are united in their desire to bring something new and fresh to Chester and to offer only the very best food, service and environment for guests to come and really have a memorable experience at Artezzan.
At Artezzan, you can look forward to a mouth-watering selection of Pinchos and Anti-pasto bursting with Mediterranean flavours, as well as stand-out dishes such as the Artezzan Grand Carbonara – flambéed tableside with aged grappa and rolled in a wheel of aged grana Padano topped with crispy pancetta. The Moroccan spiced shank of lamb (slow cooked Moroccan spiced lamb shank with a sweet potato and chickpea stew, pomegranate couscous and fresh mint) is set to be a firm favourite as well as the classic Chargrilled Souvlaki.
The cocktail list is just as impressive with market-leading innovation, unwavering quality and unrivalled expertise bringing new and exciting drinks such as Manzana y Fresa Martini (Rum, Manzana Verde, Fraise de bois, strawberry puree, lime juice and passionfruit syrup, garnished with dehydrated apple and strawberry petals) and Artezzan’s Ionian Mistress (Raspberry vodka, Passoa, guava juice, passionfruit syrup and fresh lemon, garnished with caramelized passionfruit and raspberry dust, accompanied with a shot of Pink Prosecco).
The team also recognises its responsibilities when it comes to taking care of the environment and the community. Their home delivery service will use zero emission vehicles which will also double up as customer courtesy cars too – so a driver can deliver an order and collect guests, who have a reservation, on the way back. Recycled materials will be used wherever possible, and a local charity will be nominated every year in support of the community.
If you love to travel and seek out exciting new experiences and flavours, then Artezzan Restaurant and Bar should definitely be your next destination.
