This year is Morgan’s 10th Anniversary, and we would like to share our future vision for transforming the industry and challenging prevailing attitudes towards hair loss even further.
At Morgan’s, we firmly believe that everyone should feel confident and empowered, regardless of their hair loss journey. Our mission is to revolutionise the way systems work by offering a unique range of high-quality hair loss solutions and comprehensive support for individuals experiencing hair loss. In our 10 years, we have built up our business with the purpose of helping people, and we aren’t stopping anytime soon!
We are currently in the process of building an app which is designed to allow people suffering from hair loss to get the help they need, as well as opening our third location in Cardiff city centre.
Our journey started when a good friend of Rebecca’s (Morgan’s owner/director) went through the process of getting a wig with the NHS due to undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer. She told Rebecca about her terrible experience and the lack of support she received throughout the process and asked Rebecca to help improve the journey for others.
This is why, unlike traditional NHS wig suppliers, we go beyond simply providing a product. We strive to create a safe and inclusive space where individuals can freely express themselves and explore the diverse options available. By prioritizing individual needs and preferences, we aim to restore self-esteem and promote a positive body image for our valued customers.
One of the key aspects that sets us apart is our commitment to changing attitudes surrounding hair loss. We understand that society often perpetuates narrow beauty standards, which can have a profound impact on those experiencing hair loss. That’s why we actively challenge these norms by celebrating diversity and promoting the idea that beauty comes in many forms. We envision a world where hair loss is destigmatized, and individuals feel comfortable and accepted just as they are.
Building our team has been a challenging but amazing journey. Finding individuals who are truly passionate about helping people and can consistently provide support and empathy for our clients was our goal, and we feel we have succeeded. We have a widely talented team of employed staff who put their heart and soul into their work, constantly training and gaining knowledge to allow them to provide the best possible service for everyone who walks through our doors.
Moreover, we believe in educating and empowering our customers. Our team of hair loss specialists is dedicated to providing personalised guidance and support throughout the entire process. We offer consultations, styling tips, and maintenance advice to ensure that each individual feels confident and informed when choosing the perfect product.
By empowering our customers with knowledge, we hope to dismantle stereotypes and empower them to embrace their unique beauty. Beyond this, we also have a training academy where we share our knowledge, teach new techniques and educate the next generation of hairdressers/barbers allowing them to challenge the norm and, eventually, make hair loss services a standard for all hairdressing spaces.
