Opera Duo Belle Voci are back ready to perform with a brand-new show in Chester

This summer Opera Duo Belle Voci are returning to Storyhouse Chester on the 18th June. Chester’s duo reached the Finals of ITV’s The Voice, have released two albums and a single that reached Classical No. 1. They have performed the National Anthem at the FA Cup Final at Wembley and have toured internationally. They look forward to their first show of 2021 to be in their home town of Chester where the support has been unfailing.

They have been busy behind the scenes writing a brand new show with songs that we all know and love and a few beautiful arias that perhaps you haven’t come across yet. One thing is for sure, there will be some Opera for Everyone with a Belle Voci twist.

The pair began this pandemic with their online concert filmed in Chester back in March raising money for the Covid-19 Solidarity fund & being streamed by fans across the globe. They would like to end it by coming full circle and bringing you this show… LIVE! Expect an intimate evening of opera greats, musical theatre classics and modern songs, all accompanied by live pianist and vocalists.

The concert will be held at Storyhouse & will be socially distanced, enabling the audience to enjoy the event in a safe & Covid friendly environment. Tickets are £20 each from Storyhouse Box Office.

Belle Voci said –

“After the year we have had, sitting down to write this new show together with a date to perform it already confirmed was the most incredible feeling. Having been in limbo with the rest of our industry, and indeed the world, for so long having a show to actually aim for and get excited for again is the best feeling. Performing is what we do and whilst we have kept our heads down and kept each other going all year, allowing ourselves to dream, plan, rehearse, write arrangements and find outfits again, everything we did so regularly before, is just all brilliant. We would like to thank every single person who has sent us messages of support or bought our CDs this year – you have been a lifeline. Let’s sing this lockdown out!”
