One of Chester's best-loved restaurants is now 25 years old, and stronger than ever!
Chez Jules is one of Chester’s most loved restaurants, so it’s no wonder it’s been with us right here in the city centre now for 25 years. Serving an authentic French brasserie menu seven days a week, Chez Jules has a fabulous atmosphere buzzing with locals and visitors alike over long lunches and bustling dinner times.
The Menu Du Jour is full of French classics including the best French onion soup in the city, the richest Beef Bourguignon and the most delicious crème brûlée for miles around. The Prix Fixe menu is superb value at £17.95 for two courses and £20.95 for three courses, available Monday to Sunday 12noon till 6pm. There is also plenty of choice for vegan and vegetarian guests, and their Les Menu Enfants has an excellent choice of dishes for younger customers. The Sunday menu – complete with a delicious roast is also fantastic.
Chez Jules’s wine list is equally as impressive with an excellent selection of French classics to suit all budgets. We absolutely love the Sancerre, Duc Armand, Loire for £31.95 and Puligny Montrachet, Jean-Louis Chavy is superb value at £59.95 a bottle – house wines start at £22.95 a bottle.
The service at Chez Jules is relaxed yet attentive. This team has won many awards for their excellent customer care and attention to detail, and if you’re a regular visitor you will have been welcomed by the same happy faces of hospitality aficionados over many years.
Events & Happenings
Chez Jules makes a great event venue with a fabulous space upstairs with its own bar, which also doubles up as a cinema room for their epic (and very long-running) Dinner & Movie nights every Wednesday. You can even hire this space for your very own private cinema nights!
