A superb team of local operators has recently arrived at the Faulkner in Hoole, and you can see and feel the difference as soon as you arrive at the venue.
There is a lovely welcome and a real buzz about the place. It has had more than a lick of paint and feels every inch the great quality local dining pub that it should be.
The food is delicious with many of the pub classics and sharing plates using the best local produce, and the Sunday roast menu is superb! Choose from strip loin of beef or pork with red wine jus, pan-roasted supreme of chicken with chicken gravy, wild mushroom & thyme pithivier – all served with confit heritage carrot, braised red cabbage, roast potatoes, tender stem broccoli and Yorkshire pudding – plus a load of extras are also available to order.
