Popcorn is a fun place to be! It’s located in an awesome spot overlooking the amphitheatre at the bottom of St John Street, and it has a pretty eclectic and super-welcoming feel with a super-cool team delivering great service in an informal yet attentive way.
This is a bar with lots of space and a fabulously cosy outside area with plenty of cover, blankets and heating – so the perfect city-centre retreat for enjoying a boozy hot chocolate with your chums.
Popcorn always has a happy vibe with great music, a small but perfectly formed menu, a pool table and some hilarious Sunday evening entertainment including Bingooooo, Krowd-e-okie, Big Fat Quiz of the Month and plenty more silliness for everyone.
Poppers is definitely up there as one of Chester’s very best Good Times bars! Open 7 days a week from midday till 2 am.
Downstairs you’ll find The Gold Room – a stunning secret bar available for exclusive hire – and the perfect weekend cocktail escape, run by Douglas. Open Friday and Saturday 7pm till late.
