DEVA ROMAN EXPERIENCE

The DEVA Roman Experience will take you on a voyage back through time 2,000 years ago to Roman Britannia where the fortress of DEVA Victrix is welcoming visitors from far and wide. Join the legion and help to expand the mighty Roman Empire.

Through a meticulously designed set, the talented ensemble of characters will immerse your senses in the Roman bath house, market street, and amphitheatre as you watch the drama unfold as Gladiators fight it out to the death!

The actor-led show lasts around 45 minutes with time to explore their authentic archaeology section ‘The Dig’ at your own leisure. There is also have a hands on room full of fun activities, dress up and photo opportunities.

Deva Roman Discovery Centre caters for school trips and also runs some after dark experiences. You can find full details of these activities on the Deva Roman Centre’s website.

There is a gift shop and actual Roman remains can be viewed too.

With 7 actor led shows, special effects, cutting edge projection mapping and REAL archaeology on site this experience will make you feel as if you are actually in Chester at the time the Romans were!
