A fabulous life-changing local business takes root in one of the city's most historic buildings
Rebecca Brennan Morgan is an expert in non-surgical hair replacement and hair loss solutions, providing a specialist and bespoke caring service with over 12 years’ experience. She set up Morgan’s Hair Beauty and Wigs as a salon in Prestatyn, and this is where the foundations were built by Rebecca and her team to create the very best service for people from across the region in need of hair loss and replacement solutions.
Being a highly-qualified and passionate hairdresser, Rebecca started her journey with hair replacement systems, wigs and hair loss solutions after a close friend needed advice about sourcing a good-looking wig after being diagnosed with breast cancer. She realised through this process that a lot of wigs on the market are cheap, and not tailored to people’s specific needs.
Morgan’s Hair Loss Solutions now has salons in both Chester and Prestatyn, North Wales. The Prestatyn salon also offers more traditional hairdressing services, meaning that the hybrid mix of services really can help put those with medical hair loss conditions at the forefront of hair loss solutions. The Chester salon in particular has seen so much growth, and has therefore moved premises into the city centre and is set to open in one of Chester’s most iconic buildings, Tudor House, on 12th April.
Hair loss has many forms for women, men and children, whether it’s due to chemotherapy, radiology, alopecia, genetics, pattern baldness, stress, lupus, menopause, thinning hair, gender transition or other causes. For the past five years Morgan’s has been offering its services to the NHS, meaning that patients from across North Wales and Cheshire can use their NHS vouchers in Morgan’s for a free consultation, to find the right hair loss solution for them.
Both the Chester and Prestatyn salons have very private and confidential wig consultation rooms, with bespoke cutting and colouring all part of the service. All wigs and hair integrations are offered with care and attention to make people feel their very best, so they are ready to reclaim their lives again with confidence.
From the initial consultation, Rebecca and her team go on a journey with every single client; from their initial chemo or radiotherapy treatments, to conditions that cause hair loss – right the way through to when a patient’s hair may begin to grow back. The team also offers a free first hair cut for when hair begins to regrow naturally.
Additionally, the team is well versed in helping people understand possible changes to their skin, and so also offers scalp and skin care advice – generally helping people feel the very best they can.
Rebecca also works with many charities including My New Hair, Look Good Feel Better, Little Princess Trust and Alopecia UK and she has won a number of awards for her superb service.
