THE NAUGHTY BADGER BISTRO

The Naughty Badger Bistro was originally created by Pete and Sam, who built a very special gem hidden away on Bridge Street Row.

Pete and Sam were loved by many, and ‘The Badger’ was considered one of Chester’s best quality independent bistros in town from its very early days of opening.

Fast forward to 2023 and The Naughty Badger now has new owners, and the future of this sett is looking incredibly rosy.

The Chester Chef, Andy Shelton and partner Teana are now running this gorgeous gem of a venue and doing a fabulous job in their brand-new home.

During lockdown, Andy wowed devoted foodie fans with his social media posts about great cooking at home using the best local produce. With Teana by his side, he has transferred his virtual creations into a delicious bistro menu including super-tasty sandwiches, salads, soups, breakfast & brunch dishes, a fully stocked bar and great quality hot drinks –  the hot chocolate is pretty special too.

The Naughty Badger is also available for private hire with Chef Andy ready and waiting to create bespoke, mouthwatering menus for your very own occasions and celebrations.

Whether you’re looking for a pre or post-shopping or theatre pit stop, The Naughty Badger Bistro really does have something delicious for everyone.

Sustainability & Local Collaborations

Andy and Teana are also committed to local collaborations, and by stocking Cake Chester cakes just a very short walk away from the sett, they have made sure they are serving the most gorgeous cakes in Chester, as well as keeping those delivery miles down to zero. Other local suppliers include David Joinson butchers, Ian’s 5 a day, Alice’s Veg & Petals, The Cheese Wedge, Bear Bakery, Steve Fishmongers, and Epay merchant services.
